What can you expect from a standard consultation?

During the consultation the patient is asked to describe their symptoms, provide a history of illnesses and current medication taken. The patient is also asked to show their tongue and the pulse is taken for (TCM) diagnosis.  Treatment usually consists of acupuncture, as well as advice on herbal supplements if required.
